Recipe of the Week #11- Grape Meatballs

I know, you're probably thinking, GRAPE Meatballs?!? Take my word for it: they are very good and a repeat recipe at my house! The grape comes in because the meatballs are soaked in a sauce of grape jelly. They don't taste jelly-like though.

Grape Meatballs
3 lbs ground beef
1 jar of chili sauce (found it in the ketchup section)
1/2 cup dried bread crumbs (2-3 slices)
1/3 Tbsp minced onion
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp minced parsley
1 Tbsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 jar (10 oz) grape jelly

Mix all ingredients except the Worcestershire Sauce and grape jelly. Form meatballs and brown them. Mix the grape jelly with the Worcestershire sauce and put in a Crock Pot. Add the meatballs. Cover and simmer on low for about 2 hours.

note: I actually used a little less hamburger and a 16 oz jar of jelly.
