Thrifty Thursday #208

Last Saturday morning, while my dog and I were out for our walk, we came across a yard sale.
I spotted something at the end of the driveway that made me stop in my tracks.

It was this surveyor's tripod.
They were only asking $10 for it. (I recently saw one just like it at an estate sale that was $50).
They offered to put it aside for me so I could finish my walk and bring them the money.

I was pumped!
I'm not sure if I'll turn it into a lamp or attach clips to it and make it an awesome photo display.
Any opinions?
After my shower, my hubby and I went to a few more sales.

I got this set of four old bowls for $2.

My hubby scored this cast iron skillet for $9.
He loves finding these and refinishing them.
So, did you find any good treasures this week?
Thanks for stopping by and God bless.
For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things,
to whom be glory forever.

  1. The surveyor's tripod is a great vintage score. My late husband was a land surveyor and had several of these in our basement but he got rid of them. Of course now I wish I had them. They no longer use the heavy wooden ones. I look forward to seeing what you find. Thank you for sharing you wonderful vintage finds at Vintage Charm.
