Thrifty Thursday #166

On Monday, I showed you photos of my trip to Canton Trade Days.
Today, I'm going to show you some of the treasures I brought home.

I'll be honest. I brought home so many things, it's going to take
several Thursdays to show it all to you. :)

Trust me, it's all good stuff!

Isn't this lovely?
There's no glass in it, so I don't know if it's officially a window, but that's what I'm calling it.
It stands about 34" high. I paid $15.
The photo doesn't do justice to how pretty it is - it has the chippiest paint!

One item that I knew I wanted to bring home from my trip was a few old fruit crates.
I got this one and the next one for $37 together.
They were priced $20 apiece and I couldn't get the guy to go any lower.

How great are the graphics on both of these?
Wait til you see what I did with them.

I picked up these two small film canisters for a friend.
They were priced at $4 apiece, but I got the guy to take $6 for both.
I used to never barter, but after watching shows like Flea Market Flip, I've become much more comfortable doing so.

I was super excited when I spotted this old Army trunk.
It used to hold a carpenter's tool kit (which is stenciled on top).
The lady was asking $20 for it, but she took the $15 that I offered.

It's in great shape.
All we needed to do was give it a good wipe down.
I gave it to my older son for storage in his bedroom,
although every time I walk by it I wonder what I could use it for. . . .

There's plenty more to show you,
so please stop back next Thursday to see what else came home with me.

Thanks for stopping by and God bless.

But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue
righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
