Vintage Market Days Review

I live in a town near Houston, and this area seems to have become a hot spot for junk shows.
You have to know that I am loving this!

I went to one this past weekend called Vintage Market Days.
 It was a delightful show.

They had rows and rows of booths set up at our local fairgrounds.
It cost $5 to get in and it was definitely worth the price of admission.
There was a line to get in, but it moved very quickly.

Some booths had new items, but many, like this one, had awesome vintage stuff.

I saw lots of Pyrex, old windows, vintage thermoses. . . .

The prices were reasonable.

I loved all these old tins.

I've never seen a wooden piece like this.
I thought it was so beautiful.

Check out the metal drawers.
I also like the wooden crate sitting on the drawers.

There were handmade items as well.

Check out the trough full of lights made from chicken feeders!
I'm thinking I should've gotten one of these for over my kitchen sink.

I'm a sucker for benches.

This shelf was made with the ends of a crib.
I just love it. I think it would be a great kitchen island.

I love any kind of unusual light fixture.
What do you think about the colanders as lights?

If the Vintage Market Days show comes near you, go.
You won't be disappointed.

I'm not affiliated with this company; I'm just a big fan.

Thanks for stopping by and God bless.

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord,
so walk in Him,
rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith,
as you have been taught,
abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Col. 2:6-7

What fun, and ideas galore! The displays are so inviting and the creative ideas for "upcycling" are intriguing. I think *maybe* the metal drawer with wood unit could have been a potato/onion bin for storing root vegetables. Anyway, you're fortunate to have this fun activity close to home. Happy 4th!

These are all some neat things to see. I can envision a long list of crafty projects to be done with a lot of the things you pictured. Many of those items are a dime a dozen around here.
Thank you for sharing this us on the #HomeMattersParty. We hope to see you when we open our doors at 12 AM EST on Friday.
