Recipe of the Week#168-Crock Pot Pot Roast

Crock Pot Pot Roast
1-3 lb chuck roast
beef and onion soup mix
1 small onion, chopped
various veggies- carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, etc.
salt and pepper

Put roast in Crock Pot. Season with salt and pepper. Put water in pot until halfway up on the roast. Add soup mix and stir. Add onion and other veggies. Cook on low for 6 hours.

Note: Right before we ate, I took out my potatoes and mashed them. My boys will eat them better that way. Let me tell you, seasoned potatoes like this make the best mashed potatoes!

If you think you don't have time to cook dinner, try this! Very little prep time and when you get home, you whole meal is ready! Such a tasty dinner with so very little effort.

Thanks for stopping by and God bless.

And whatever you do, do it heartily ,
as to the Lord and not to men.
Col. 3:23
