Recipe of the Week #165-Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour
2 cups chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350.
Mix butter, sugars, and eggs. Add vanilla, salt, baking soda, and flour. Fold in chocolate chips.
Place by large teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake for 10-13 minutes.

Note: I prefer soft cookies, so I pull mine out just before they're done and let them finish cooking on the hot pan.

Today I'm sharing an old family recipe with you guys. I've been making these by memory since I was in fifth grade. My hubby claims he married me for my chocolate chip cookies:) These are fantastic- I guarantee you'll love them!

Thanks for stopping by and God bless.
