Recipe of the Week #37-The Best Apple Pie-EVER!

Apple Pie
7-8 Fuji apples, peeled and sliced
2 store bought pie crusts
3/4 cup butter
4 1/2 Tbsp flour
1/3 cup water
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar

Preheat oven to 425.
Peel and slice apples and place in pie plate. Melt butter in saucepan over med-low heat. Stir in flour to form a foamy paste. Add waters, sugars, and cinnamon, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for two minutes. Pour mix over apples.
Cover with second pie crust and seal edges. Cut three slits in the top. Wrap crust with foil.
Bake at 425 for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 and continue to bake for 35-45 minutes. Remove foil after 25 minutes.

This pie is amazing! I don't usually eat apple pie, but I couldn't resist this! My family loved it, too.

I got this recipe from this blog.

Thanks for stopping by and God bless.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
