Recipe of the Week #118- Soft and Thick Sugar Cookies

Soft and Thick Sugar Cookies
1 box white cake mix with pudding in the box
2/3 cup flour
2 eggs
1/3 cup canola oil
2 Tbsp sour cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir cake mix and flour. Add the rest of the ingredients. Batter will be stiff. Roll dough into 1" balls and place on cookie sheet. Flatten the dough balls. Bake for about 10 minutes.

Icing
1/2 cup butter, at room temp.
2 Tbsp heavy cream
1 Tbsp vanilla
3-4 cups powdered sugar

Beat butter for 2 minutes until smooth. Add cream and vanilla. Beat for 1 minute. Add sugar one cup at a time until you reach the desired consistency.

When I found this recipe, I ws sold at soft sugar cookies. Seriously. That's my favorite kind of cookie! These are very tasty and the icing adds a lot! My boys snatched these cookies up. They're so quick and easy, I'll be making them again.

Thanks so much for stopping by and God bless.

So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you;
seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you.

I've been craving iced sugar cookies for awhile, so this looks like an easy recipe to try!
