Recipe of the Week #134- Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
1 cup margarine, melted
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup milk
1 bag chocolate chips

Mix butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla and stir. Mix in the salt, baking powder, and flour. Fold in chocolate chips and add the milk. Spread in a 9"x 13" pan. Bake until golden brown and done in the center.

Note: If you leave out the milk, you can make regular chocolate chip cookies.

You just can't go wrong with a good batch of chocolate chip cookies! Making them in a bar form simply cuts out the tediousness of making the individual cookies- plus these turn out so thick and soft. My family always loves it when I whip up a batch of these!

Thanks for stopping by and God bless.
