1 lb beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 pkg (8oz each) sliced button mushrooms
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
2 cans (14 oz) beef broth
1 lb egg noodles
1 container (16 oz) sour cream
Cook beef, onion, and garlic until brown. Don't drain. Add mushrooms and salt and cook for five minutes. Add evaporated milk, broth, and noodles. At first the noodles won't be covered. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 7-8 minutes. Stir frequently until noodles are tender. Remove fro heat. Stir in sour cream and salt and pepper to taste.
This is one of my new favorite recipes! I love beef stroganoff and this particular recipe is so easy to make.
