Cinnamon Sugar Pecans
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
2 cups pecans
generous amounts of cinnamon and sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add water and sugar to a pot and heat the water until the sugar has dissolved. Add the pecans and coat well. Using a slotted spoon, remove the nuts from the water and place on a cookie sheet. Cover with sugar and cinnamon. I covered with enough that both were visible on all the nuts.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Oh my goodness, these were amazing. And I don't usually eat pecans! My son just kept popping them into his mouth. These just seem like a good fall treat, don't they?
Thanks for stopping by and God bless.
