Baby Shower Gift Ideas

Recently, I attended a baby shower for a friend. I decided to make her a couple of gifts.  For the first, I used this wooden basket that I found at a thrift store. I chose some paper that was the same theme as her nursery, measured it out, and cut it into strips. I attached the strips with Mod Podge to the slats on the basket.

Then I tied on some tulle and filled it with goodies.

The second gift I made her was a scrapbook layout that says "For this child I prayed." There is a place on it for her to write the baby's weight, height and the day and time she is born. In place of a photo, I cut off the front of a card that has a baby on it. I placed it in photo corners so it can be easily removed and replaced with a photo of her baby. Then I used a wooden hanger (for slacks) and glued on a strip of rosettes.

Since I only have boys, these girly projects were a chance for me to get to use pink and flowers and all things girly!

Thank you for stopping by!
