Thrifty Thursday #225

Last Saturday, the Junk Hippy show was in town.
I had a great time looking around.
There was booth after booth of cute stuff, junk, and antiques.

I didn't pick up much, but I saw lots of good stuff.
Here's what I brought home.

I got a bag full of vintage Bingo cards for $10.
There were eighty-three cards in the bag!!!
Woo-hoo!

I also got this cool metal plate for $1.
I figure I'll attach it to a piece of furniture or a repurposed piece.
It measures 3 1/2"x 4".

My last purchase was these two cool old keys for a dollar each.
Not sure yet how I'll use them, but I thought they were cool.

That's all I got, but there was so much to see. I had a great time shopping.
Have you ever been to a Junk Hippy Show?

Thanks for stopping by and God bless.

Continue earnestly in prayer,
being vigilant in it with thanksgiving

Have You Heard of the Junk Hippy Roadshow?

Have you heard of or been to the Junk Hippy Roadshow?
It's a show full of booths featuring vintage items, antiques, and lovely junk.
There are booths with shabby chic furniture, cute clothes, and unique jewelry.
It's right up my alley.

I believe they have shows in Texas and Oklahoma.
Fortunately, the town I live in is one of their stops
and I got to go to the show this past Saturday.
It was amazing.

There was so much to see.

I felt most of the prices were fair.

I just loved walking around and looking not just at what was being sold,
but also how the items were displayed.

It was only $5 to get in.

If you get a chance to go to one of these shows, do it.
You won't be disappointed.

I'm not affiliated with this organization, I just think it's awesome.

Thanks for stopping by and God bless.

And I will declare Your greatness.

Thrifty Thursday #146

This past weekend, the Junk Hippy Show was in our town.
They come twice a year.
If you've never been, I highly recommend that you go!

They have booth after booth of awesome finds-- some vintage, some repurposed, but all beautiful!

I got this old window for $20.
Quite a bargain, if you ask me.
It's 31"x 35".

There were tons of finds that you'd see at antique stores, without the antique store prices.

The most awesome repurposed project I saw that day was a lady
who used an old wooden radio for her sales counter.
Loved it.

Thanks so much for stopping by and God bless.

It's That Time Again. . .

The Junk Hippy Roadshow is coming to town! Yay!

If you've read my blog for any time at all, you probably have gathered that I am a JUNK LOVER! Needless to say, this show is right up my alley!

Even though we have family coming to town for the weekend, I'm planning to go to this
even if I have to sneak out to do it :)

Maybe the next time, I could have my own booth. . .

Thanks for stopping by and God bless.

Check This Out!

Does this make anybody but me giddy? I sure hope it's good!

I love junk!

If you live around the Houston area, come and check it out!
(I am not associated with it in any way, but I think it looks like my kind of thing!)
